The H.I.R.E. Network

"The National Helping Individuals with criminal records Re-enter through Employment (H.I.R.E.) Network is both a national clearinghouse for information and an advocate for policy change." They engage in public policy advocacy, provide technical assistance & training to overcome barriers to employment for those in the criminal justice system. Their website includes news, publications, state resources and contact information for further assistance.

The GAINS Center for Behavioral Health and Justice Information

"The GAINS Center's primary focus is on expanding access to community based services for adults diagnosed with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders at all points of contact with the justice system. The Center emphasizes the provision of consultation and technical assistance to help communities achieve integrated systems of mental health and substance abuse services for individuals in contact with the justice system."
